Synopsis
Love N Hate is a story about a toxic relationship that finally brings a young upcoming artist (Played by Jamella) to a turning point in her life where she must choose to stay in this abusive relationship or make the decision to move forward and put her career and well being first. The video is designed to raise awareness and promote empowerment. Trigger warning: Some images portrayed are violent and could make some feel uncomfortable. Viewer discretion is advised.
About Jamella:
Jamella is an artist from California who has been in the industry since she was 7 years old working with acclaimed producer Timbaland and others. In 2018 Jamella was a contestant on season 14 of NBC's The Voice where she went deep into the competition as a member of Team Kelly (Clarkson) but was knocked out. Since then she has gained millions of fans and is looking to make her debut a powerful one.
About the Director
Wes Clark is a festival award winning filmmaker and Full Sail MCBS Graduate. After securing the gig to write and direct Jamella's video he decided to share the experience with fellow Full Ssil on campus students. The production took place over 4 days throughout Orlando including the Full Sail Campus. Wes has numerous projects in development and Several more in negotiations with various distribution companies and networks. Wes' Niche is that he likes to incorporate cinematic storytelling into his music videos.
Love N Hate will be screened at the Long Island International Film Expo 2020 on Oct 6th in the best music video competition.
