This term the Friday Blend programming will focus on podcasts. As a group, we will bring the WeAreMCBS Podcast back to life by creating three, fresh new episodes. We will also use our combined strength to help interested students get their own podcast ideas off the ground and "on the air."

In this month’s Friday Blend(s), you’ll be challenged to think on your feet and respond quickly and effectively to a crisis situation. We’ll be joined by Crisis Communication professionals from the Lake County Office of Communications, who will teach you how to write an initial crisis statement, interview with the media, and facilitate a press release. To wrap up the month, you will hear from industry experts, Full Sail staff and MCBS alumni via a Crisis Communication panel. This will be a night to remember as we induct six new graduates into the Full Sail University Hall of Fame! All students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend a watch party of the live ceremony on Thursday, April 20, at 5:30 p.m. ET in the Fortress or at the outdoor stage behind Zackley's at Building 2.

The Pre-Hall of Fame 13 Content Creation Workshop will give students an opportunity to tell their stories in a high-level short-form content factory environment. Students can either use the space to create their own predetermined short-form content and/or gain on-camera experience through a '5 questions' style instructor-directed interview. All equipment will be set up and ready to go. If you are planning any self-directed video content, please bring a short outline or prompt of what you plan to present on camera. Footage will be available to all participants to mix and remix as you, please. ALL MCBS students are encouraged to take time to participate in this opportunity!
